The Aspen LSO is a prefabricated, custom fitted body jacket style orthosis made from high density polyethylene and rigid aluminum rods with a cotton-lined foam interface material. It is used to stabilize the lower spine (lumbosacral) in the case of injury, degenerative spinal conditions, deformities, or corrective surgical procedures and provides anterior-posterior (sagittal plane) and medial-lateral (coronal plane) control of the lumbosacral spine.

The Aspen LSO Low Profile has a unique, three-piece design, featuring symmetrical side panels, which allows the practitioner to configure the orthosis so it can be tightened using either hand. When tightened, the brace firmly and evenly compresses the torso enabling patients to regain a significant degree of functional mobility and, in many cases, return to routine activities of daily living. The LSO Low Profile comfortably “hugs” the torso and can be easily worn under a jacket or sweater. It is used to stabilize the lower spine (lumbosacral) in the case of injury, degenerative spinal conditions, deformities, or corrective surgical procedures and provides anterior-posterior (sagittal plane) and medial-lateral (coronal plane) control of the lumbosacral spine.

The Cinch-Loc™ LSO provides constant lumbar and abdominal support and protection for the healing back. Rigid anterior and posterior panels work together to stabilize the lumbar sacral region and relieve pressure from the spine, holding it in a healthy, correct posture. The hydrostatic lift reduces the load on the lumbar discs and often provides immediate pain relief. The rigid posterior panel is designed with an optional indentation that can easily be removed depending on indications. The indented back provides superior pain relief for those with chronic pain, a herniated lumbar disc or degenerative disc disease. Removing the indented portion creates a flat back design ideal for postsurgical use, preventing pressure on sensitive incision areas. The Contour is easy to apply and wear and it combines multiple braces in one system. The brace can be stepped down to a QuikDraw RAP and vice versa. The Contour is modular with the progression of patient care.
