Aspen Cervical Collars

Aspen Medical

Aspen Cervical Collars help minimize skin breakdown while providing substantial motion restriction. The unique CushionFlex Tabs allow the collar to conform to each patient as it is tightened for a true custom fit. Tightening the Occipital Support Strap further customizes the collar by creating an adjustable, three-dimensional “shelf” that cradles the back of the head. The structural elements of the collars have been designed to spread support across broad contact surfaces thereby reducing or eliminating “hot-spots” that can cause decubitus ulcers.

Aspen LSO

Aspen Medical

The Aspen LSO is a prefabricated, custom fitted body jacket style orthosis made from high density polyethylene and rigid aluminum rods with a cotton-lined foam interface material. It is used to stabilize the lower spine (lumbosacral) in the case of injury, degenerative spinal conditions, deformities, or corrective surgical procedures and provides anterior-posterior (sagittal plane) and medial-lateral (coronal plane) control of the lumbosacral spine.

Aspen LSO Low Profile

Aspen LSO Low Profile

Aspen Medical

The Aspen LSO Low Profile has a unique, three-piece design, featuring symmetrical side panels, which allows the practitioner to configure the orthosis so it can be tightened using either hand. When tightened, the brace firmly and evenly compresses the torso enabling patients to regain a significant degree of functional mobility and, in many cases, return to routine activities of daily living. The LSO Low Profile comfortably “hugs” the torso and can be easily worn under a jacket or sweater. It is used to stabilize the lower spine (lumbosacral) in the case of injury, degenerative spinal conditions, deformities, or corrective surgical procedures and provides anterior-posterior (sagittal plane) and medial-lateral (coronal plane) control of the lumbosacral spine.

Aspen TLSO

Aspen Medical

The Aspen TLSO is a prefabricated, custom fitted orthosis, constructed of three rigid plastic shells including the rigid posterior panel and two rigid side panels. Together with the padded chest panel, shoulder straps and torso control straps, the Aspen TLSO provides triplanar motion restriction. Requiring several specific anatomical measurements and characterized by a structurally rigid layer of high density polyethylene that encircles the trunk, the Aspen TLSO is designed to be trimmed, bent, molded or modified for use by a specific patient. It is used to stabilize the lower spine (thoracic and lumbosacral) in the case of injury, degenerative spinal conditions, deformities, or corrective surgical procedures and provides anterior-posterior (sagittal plane), medial-lateral (coronal plane), and rotational (transverse plane) control of the lumbosacral spine and lower thoracic spine.

Cervical Thoracic Orthosis

Cervical Thoracic Orthosis

Aspen Medical

The Cervical Thoracic Orthosis, (CTO) is a fully MRI compatible, four-post, cervicothoracic device that provides a high degree of motion restriction in not only the cervical spine, but also the upper thoracic area (i.e. C7-T1 and T1-T2) as well. The Aspen CTO has been designed with breathable, replaceable padding at all interface points. The pads are washable and can be replaced so that the occurrence of decubitis ulcers or skin breakdown is reduced and/or eliminated. The Aspen® Cervicothoracic Bracing System provides a fully integrated approach for quantifiable motion restriction of cervical spine patients by incorporating design elements that allow the Aspen System to be “stepped down” from a 4 post CTO, to a 2-post model and then to a stand alone collar. This allows the Aspen Cervicothoracic Bracing System to be configured to provide the exact motion restriction required for each patient as they transition through recovery.

Contour LSO

Contour LSO

Aspen Medical

The Contour LSO is designed to provide all the benefits of the Aspen LSO (adjustable bracing system that provides stability for the lumbar spine while increasing patient comfort), with several additional benefits. The Contour is easy to apply and wear and it combines multiple braces in one system. The brace can be stepped down to a QuikDraw RAP and vice versa. The Contour is modular with the progression of patient care.

Aspen Medical

The HDM LSO system offers superior immobilization combined with customized comfort. Aspen’s innovative off-the-shelf design facilitates tightening, minimizes pressure, and conforms to patient specific lordosis. The modular design uses five components to make six possible brace sizes and configurations, resulting in a better fit and improved care for the patient.

QuikDraw RAP

Aspen Medical

The QuikDraw RAP is a lightweight, breathable lumbar brace designed to provide support and immediate pain relief. Its’ unique tightening system offers a mechanical advantage for even, adjustable compression. The Rigid Anterior Panel provides increased motion restriction and support for a wide variety of patients.

Sierra Universal Collar

Sierra Universal Collar

Aspen Medical

The Sierra Universal Collar provides substantial motion restriction for the vast majority of patients with just a single size. With its closed-cell foam patient interface material, the Sierra Collar is designed for short-term wear or as a shower collar when used in conjunction with an Aspen Cervical Collar.

Vista Cervical Collars

Vista Cervical Collars

Aspen Medical

Vista Cervical Collars are designed to provide all the benefits of the Aspen cervical collar (reduced skin breakdown, patient comfort, superior motion restriction), with several additional benefits. The Vista improved patient care while saving time, money and storage space. With its innovative height adjustment technology, the Vista is really six collars in one. The right size is always at hand, reducing storage and inventory costs, while improving patient care.
